Invisalign Clear Braces

We can straighten your teeth without braces

If you are hesitant about getting braces because of how they look or feel, we have good news. Invisalign Clear Braces are almost invisible and are comfortable to wear. They have other advantages, too, that might win you over.

What is Invisalign?

Invisalign braces straighten your teeth using clear plastic trays, called aligners, that are custom-made to fit your teeth. To generate the trays, we take impressions of your mouth with a 3D intra-oral scanner – no goop! – and transmit this data to Invisalign manufacturer Align Technology. The company creates your set of aligners and sends them all to us at the start of treatment. The trays gradually realign your teeth as you replace them every one or two weeks. Invisalign trays are often referred to as braces because of their function, but they do not contain the brackets or wires of traditional braces.

The advantages of Invisalign over traditional braces:

  • As stated above, the Invisalign trays are virtually invisible.
Most people won’t notice you’re wearing them unless you tell.
  • Invisalign trays are removable. Invisalign, The Clear Alternative to Braces
You can take them out for a limited time each day, allowing you to eat and clean
your teeth as you normally would, and remove them for special occasions, including
    playing a musical instrument.
  • You will need fewer dental visits.
When you begin your Invisalign course, all of the trays you will need are generated
at the start of your program. Because they don’t require adjustments, you can change
the trays every two weeks yourself. You may need to see your dentist only every eight
    or 10 weeks.
  • You don’t need a specialist for Invisalign treatment.
General dentists with Invisalign training and the correct computer equipment are
qualified to provide treatment. In cases of severe misalignment or jaw problems, your
dentist may partner with an orthodontic specialist to ensure you get the treatment you need.
  • You may be more comfortable.
Invisalign trays don’t scrape or poke your cheeks as metal braces sometimes can.
  • You may smile more!
The clear trays mean your smile is beautiful even during treatment.
  • Do I really need braces?

Correctly aligned teeth not only look pretty when you smile but they benefit your overall health as well. This video from Align Technology, the maker of Invisalign, explains how.
